BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"For the most part, I was happy with how we did. It was the first collegiate meet for almost all of our runners, so it was a great first step. I think they learned a lot and got those first race jitters out against some pretty good competition. It was very warm as well and we need to learn to make sure to hydrate and fuel our bodies properly before the race. Some of them had some issues with the heat. Overall though, it was a good start." --Head Coach Mark White
White's team wil lace them up next on Saturday, September 14, at the Old Dminon Athletic Conference Preview Meet. The event will be hosted by Roanoke College at Green Hill Park.
