FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped an ODAC affair with Hollins University in Swartz Gymnasium Tuesday night 3-0.

Ferrum (3-12, 0-5 ODAC)
Hollins (12-8, 2-4 ODAC)

Hollins def. Ferrum 25-22, 25-20, 25-15

Molly Patterson continued her successful Freshman campaign amassing seven kills, enough for a team best tied with Chemaiya Jordan. Cassidy Burke amounted the most overall points, having her hands in just about every single statistical catagory. Ashley Roberts and Arielle Tritt both continued their work around the net notching 11 assists and ten assists, respectively. Jordan played the net well, recording a solo block and five block assists. On the back row, it was Kayla Divers and Layura Henley leading the Panthers, recording nine digs apiece.

"Tonight's loss was tough to swallow because it was a match that was definitely in our reach. We started off so strong but pumped the brakes and could not find a way to consistently score and not force our own errors. If we want to turn this season around, we will need to step back, re-focus, and fight for it." --Head Coach Ruthanne Duffy

Coach Duffy's squad will hit the road for their next match, a non-conference affair with Peidmont International Thursday, October 3. Game time is set for 7 p.m. inside Williams Gymnasium.
