"Today's matches were key in helping us determine our strengths and weaknesses on the court with us being able to face a different opponent other than ourselves. Although we lost two today, the potential of this team is most definitely there and I am excited to continue to build towards a successful season. It's going to take a lot of sweat and hard work to get where we need to be to compete and win, but I believe our ladies are up for the challenge." -- Head Coach Ruthanne Duffy

Duffy's squad will be back in action for their home opener Tuesday, September 3, taking on Johnson & Wales (N.C.) University at 7:00 p.m. in Swartz Gymnasium.
