BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"We had a slow start and although we were able to begin fighting back in set one, it was too little, too late. Luckily we were able to not dwell on the first set and fight to win the next three. I am so proud of the women we have here, they have battled hard all year and came up short in a few games and our record doesn't reflect the talent this team has. Over the last few games, things are really coming together and we are doing a better job of correcting mistakes we made early on and are finding ways to win these matches." -- Head Coach Ruthanne Duffy

BACK ON COURT
Duffy's team will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Mary Baldwin University. The non-conference match gets underway at 7:00 p.m. in Staunton, Virginia. Ferrum then hosts Johnson & Wales (N.C.) University Friday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. Prior to the match, the team will hold a brief Senior Day ceremony to honor Holland and Strickland.
