"We have been looking forward to today's matches for a while now to see where we really stood competitively and to help us gauge what else we will need to continue to work towards as we prepare for this season. I was happy to see that we started off strong and ready to set the tone for the year. Pfeiffer was a tough opponent and I was happy to see us stay determined to win the match in four. I think it says about our team's grit, especially with the youth we have out on the court." -- Head Coach Ruthann Duffy.
BACK ON COURT
Duffy's squad will play its home opener Tuesday, Sept. 4, against Mary Baldwin University. Start time for the non-conference match is 7:00 p.m. at Swartz Gym.
