Women's Tennis Falls 6-3 at Home

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College fell 6-3 to Pfeiffer University in non-conference women's tennis action Sunday, March 17, at the Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts.

Ferrum trailed 2-1 after doubles, with Morgan Scott and Autum Murray-Burns winning easily over Sydney Gray and Charlotte Craves 8-1 at the #1 spot. The Falcons then won four of six singles matches for the win. Winning for the Panthers were Scott and Murray-Burns at #1 and #2 singles, respectively.

Coach Rod Baker's team will be back on the courts Tuesday, March 19, at home against William Peace University. The non-conference doubleheader is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
