Panther Women Roll to 9-0 Shutout Win

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Ferrum College's women's tennis team beat Johnson University 9-0 this afternoon on the road to even its record at 3-3 at the JU Tennis Courts.

THE BASICS
The Panthers won three doubles match to grab a 3-0 lead, then took all six singles matches to record their third shutout win this season.

Morgan Scott and Autum Murray-Burns opened with an 8-2 win at #1 doubles, Alexandria Dixon and Jordan Thompson won 8-4 at #2, and Chelsea Zizzi and Mallory Scott won 8-4 in the #3 spot.

Scott (Morgan), Murray-Burns and Dixon each survived through three sets to win at #1-3 singles, respectively, while Thompson, Scott (Mallory) and Hailee Green won in the #4-6 singles spots.
