BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"There's no doubt this game is a tough pill to swallow. Virginia Wesleyan is very good, they have a great program. I don't want to take a single thing away from them. However, we know our mentality wasn't what it needed to be. So it's a great learning experience. We talk about resilience a lot. That's part of our culture. Resilience is the ability to take tough experiences and use them to come back better, stronger, and wiser. I think based on what I heard from the team after the game there is a commitment to come back better, stronger, and wiser. If we do that, we'll turn this short-term negative into a long-term positive. That's what I'm excited about." -- Head Coach James Lofton
Lofton's bunch will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 10, at home against Randolph College. The ODAC game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start at Penn-Roediger Field.
