BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"It's hard to win a college soccer game, so I'm always very happy when we win. We continue to focus on the things we need to do to improve; completing passes, moving the ball, moving off the ball better, and creating and finishing more of our chances. If we get distracted by the win, we could lose sight of the fact that the performance today was below our standard. Having said that, the energy on the team is good, and I think there is a level of self awareness, so I think the team is eager to get better. We want to play to a standard and try to be the very best version of ourselves we can be. Everybody's on the same page about that. That's what makes it such a great group to work with." -- Head Coach James Lofton

NEXT GAME
Lofton's team will be back on the pitch Wednesday, Sept. 12, at home against Pfeiffer University. The non-conference match is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start.
