"I was impressed with the heart and the effort with which the team played, especially as the game wore on. I think the team's ability to finish strong is testament to the collective character of the group. Moving forward our biggest challenge is to start the game more aggressively and to create and finish our chances. We have to do those things to not just win, but also dominate the game. The team seems hungry to constantly improve, so I think we'll get there." -- Head Coach James Lofton

Lofton's team will be back in action Sunday, September 9, against William Peace University. The non-conference game is scheduled to get underway at 12 p.m., and will be followed imediately by Ferrum's mens soccer game against the Pacers.
