Ferrum Wrestlers Win Three Duals on the Road

WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Ferrum College's men's wrestling team picked up three win this afternoon on the road at the McDaniel College Duals. The Panthers beat Wilkes University, Penn State Club and host McDaniel.

THE BASICS
Four wrestlers were unbeaten on the day, led by Collin Saunders (149) and Blake Rosenbaum (174), who both won three times. Rosenbaum was impressive in picking up two pins and a decision, while Saunders posted two major decisions and and a tech fall. Alveno Mathews (285) went 2-0 with a pair of decisions, while Tyrique Nolen went 1-0 at 285 with a major decision.

Jalen White (125), Levi Englman (133) Austin Smith (157), Christian Hite (165), Braden Homsey (184) and Antavian Leary (197) all went 2-1. Smith and Leary each had a pin and major decision, while White had a tech fall and a forfeit. The Panthers improve to 6-1 with today's sweep.
