Greensboro Beats Ferrum 18-14 in Women's Lacrosse

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference women's lacrosse game this afternoon to Greensboro College, falling 18-14 at Pride Field.

Ferrum (3-7)

Ferrum led 3-2 in the first 10 minutes of play, but Greensboro scored three straight and never trailed from there. Reagan Aldridge's goal at 2:58 of the first half cut the lead to 9-5 but the Pride scored another goal to make it 10-5 at the break.

In the second half, Greensboro scored three goals in the first minute and a half of play to widen the lead to 13-5. Ferrum scored three goals in the waning moments, two by Megan Allen.

Coach Karen Harvey's team will be back in action Saturday, April 6, at University of Lynchburg. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference game is set to start at 1:00 p.m. in Lynchburg, Virginia.
