Generals Post 24-0 Women's Lacrosse Shutout Over Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. -- Washington & Lee University out-shot Ferrum College 39-2 en route to an Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's lacrosse road win this afternoon, winning 24-0 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Washington & Lee scored early and often in opening an insurmountable 17-0 lead at the break. Janie Stillwell and Haley Tucker each scored two of the first five goals to open the Generals' scoring barrage.

Maggie Frankel led the charge for the Generals with seven goals off the bench. Stillwell closed the game with five goals and four assists. Four goalkeepers helped the Generals preserve the shutout, including starter Elliott Gilbert, who played just over two minutes without facing a shot.
