FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College picked up a non-conference women's lacrosse win over Sweet Briar College this afternoon at home, winning 22-5 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 5-0 three minutes into the game on a goal each by Micaela Harvey, Megan Allen, Victoria Tyler, Reagan Aldridge and Kaitlyn Harley. Sweet Briar's Victoria Lawson broke up the shutout with an unassisted goal at 25:32 of the first half.

Ferrum increased the lead to 13-3 at the break, then piled it on with nine more goals in the second half. It was the highest scoring out of the season for the Panthers, who out-shot Sweet Briar 30-10.
