Ferrum Posts Come-From-Behind Win Over Randolph in Women's Lacrosse

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Ferrum College posted a 12-11 come-from behind non-conference women's lacrosse win over Randolph College this afternoon at WildCat Stadium. Audrey Ramsey scored with less than two minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Panthers to the win.

How It Happened
The Panthers trailed 10-7 with 13 minutes left to play, but rallied to tie the game 11-11 at the 2:28 mark. Ramsey then scored the game-winner off a free position shot with 1:44 left in regulation. Ramsey and Julianne Bove led the Panthers (5-9) with five goals each.

Coach Karen Harvey's team will close out the season with a pair of home games Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10. The Panthers host USA South opponent Meredith College Saturday at noon then take on Sweet Briar College Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Prior to Sunday's game, the team will honor its graduating players with a pre-game Senior Day ceremony.
