Huffman Finishes 15th at ODAC Women's Golf Tournament

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. -- Ferrum College freshman Jetta Huffman finished 15th at the 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Women's Golf Tournament, played Sunday through Tuesday, April 28-30, at Par 73, 5800-yard Bryan Park Champions Course.

Washington and Lee University (958) won in a landslide, finishing 78 strokes ahead of runner-up Shenandoah University. W&L's Laurie Jones (233) earned medalist honors with a par on the first playoff hole against teammate Beth Ann Townsend (233). Griffin Foutz (234) helped the Generals sweep the top three individual spots in a field of 31 golfers.

Huffman opened Sunday with a 93, posted a 91 Monday then closed with an 86 today to finish with a three-day 270, tying Bridgewater College's Heather Donnelly for 15th place. Huffman was Ferrum's only participant.
