BEHIND THE WHISTLE
"I am really proud of our team tonight. We have been dealing with some adversity and for our team to come out and compete the way they did against a very good Averett team means the world to me. I'm extremely happy for Jasmine, who had a career high 28 points. She is a senior who has more than paid her dues. To see her and Arin (20 points, 9 rebounds) have such big nights was really special. We haven't won at Averett in a while. We really did a great job on the defensive end of the floor in the fourth quarter which I thought was the difference in the game. A great way to head into Thanksgiving Break." -- Head Coach Bryan Harvey
Coach Bryan Harvey's team will break for Thanksgiving, then returns to action Saturday, Nov. 24, at Eastern Mennonite University. The Old Dominion Athletic Conference game tips off at 2:00 p.m. in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
