Ferrum Women Drop Two at McDaniel Tip-Off Classic

WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of non-conference women's basketball games Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, at the 2018 McDaniel Tip-Off Classic.

The Panthers opened the weekend with a 59-43 loss Friday to host McDaniel, then dropped a 74-49 game to Widener College Saturday.

THE BASICS
Against McDaniel, the Panthers got eight points from Jacy Marvin and seven points each from Jessy Nichols, Autumn Hubbard and Arin Bunker. Carolina Ward led the Green Terror with 17 points and Anna Mondoro had 14 points.

Kelli Mounce led Ferrum wilt 10 points in the loss to Widener, while Bunker had nine points and seven rebounds. Devan Rimmer led the Pride with 17 points and Kyra Schenk added 10 points. Ferrum's Jessy Nichols was named to the All-Tournament Team for her performance in the two-day tournament.

NEXT GAME
Coach Bryan Harvey's team will be back in action Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Averett University. The non-conference game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 p.m. in Danville, Virginia.
