FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College women's basketball team broke a 17-year-old record for single game three-point field goals made with 15 in today's 85-47 USA South win over William Peace University this afternoon at Swartz Gym.

THE BASICS
The two teams were tied at 15-all after one quarter but Ferrum broke things open with a 19-6 run in the second quarter to grab a 34-21 lead at the break. In the second half it was all Ferrum as the Panthers ran away with the league win. Prior to the game Ferrum honored junior Zarkia Mattox on joining the 1,000-Point Club two weeks ago.
