FERRUM, Va. -- The Ferrum College women's basketball team improved to 3-0 in USA South play with a 67-44 win over visiting Greensboro College this afternoon at Swartz Gym. Erin March led the Panther effort with 21 points, including a trio of three-pointers.

Ferrum (8-6, 3-0 USA South), Greensboro (5-8, 1-2 USA South)

Ferrum led 32-16 at halftime and poured it on in the second half en route to the league win. The Panthers sank 10 three-pointers this afternoon, a day after pouring in a school record 15 three-pointers in an 85-47 USA South win over William Peace University at home.

Coach Bryan Hayrvey's team will be back in action Wednesday, Jan. 18, at home against Mary Baldwin University. The USA South game gets underway at 7:30 p.m. in Swartz Gym.
