Greensboro Snaps Ferrum's Win Streak

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College's women's basketball team dropped a USA South game to Greensboro College, falling 48-46 at Hanes Gym. The loss was Ferrum's first in USA South play this season and broke up the Panthers' seven-game win streak.

Greensboro (10-6, 6-3 USA South), Ferrum (12-7, 7-1 USA South)

Ferrum led 27-21 at halftime and 37-26 after three periods. The Pride roared back, outscoring the Panthers 21-9 in the fourth, including an 11-3 run in the final five minutes of regulation. Marla Crawford made a layup with nine seconds left to put Greensboro out in front 48-46. Ferrum turned the ball over on its next possession to end the game.
