Sweet Briar (2-10, 1-7 ODAC)

Hunter Tharpe led the Panthers with first-place performances in the 200 medley relay, where she swam the first leg, the 200 freeestyle and 100 backstroke.

Courtney Moyer finished first in the 100 freestyle and anchored Ferrum's winning 200 medley relay. Katie Shoaf was first in the 400 freestyle and handled the third leg of the 200 medley relay. Elina Baltins was second in the 100 breaststroke.

"Despite a couple of injuries, I thought we swam very well. They are a hard-working group and like to compete. We just need to fix some of those injuries before the ODAC Championship in February." --Head Coach Margaret Parcell

Parcell's men and women will compete next on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Hampden-Sydney College. Ferrum's men will face the host Tigers along with Roanoke College, while the women will compete against Roanoke. The meet is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia.
