NO. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Ferrum College's softball team opened its Spring Break '19 trip by splitting a pair of games this afternoon. The Panthers dropped the opener 13-5 in five innings to University of Michigan at Dearborn, then routed Penn State-Schuylkill 20-0 in five innings.

THE BASICS
Ferrum blew a 5-1 lead in the opener. Lois Carpenter and Tori Scott had a pair of base hits each. Scott and Emily Cook each collected three base hits in the nightcap blowout.
