Falcons Too Strong in Men's Tennis

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference men's tennis match this afternoon to Pfeiffer University, falling 9-0 at the Burrows-Skeens Tennis Courts

Pfeiffer took control early by grabbing all three doubles matches, then swept the six singles matches in straight sets. Patrick Marsh had the closest match of the afternoon, falling 6-3, 7-5 to Brian Marchant in the #3 singles spot.

Coach Rod Baker's team will be back in action Tuesday, March 19, at home against William Peace University. The non-conference match gets underway at 4:00 p.m.
