Tigers Post Comeback Win Over Ferrum Men

FERRUM, Va. -- Spell Carr's goal in the 61st minute of play broke a 1-1 deadlock and lifted Hampden-Sydney College to a 2-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's soccer win over Ferrum College tonight at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Michael Lyons scored the game's first goal at 10:32 to give Ferrum a short-lived lead. Hunter Weiland notched a goal for the Tigers at 14:19 and the two teams were tied 1-1 at the break. Carr scored at the 60:01 mark for Hampden-Sydney and the Tiger defense did the rest to preserve the league win. Ferrum out-shot Hampden-Sydney 17-11.
