ASHLAND, Va. --Ferrum College's men's soccer team earned the College's first-ever Old Dominion Athletic Conference win with tonight's 2-1 overtime triumph over Randolph-Macon College at R-MC Field. Mbambi Mbongu's goal in the 94th minute of play was the difference.
Ferrum (5-2, 1-1 ODAC)
Randolph-Macon (3-4, 0-2 ODAC)
The Panthers trailed 1-0 after Dylan Ogletree scored for the Yellow Jackets just 2:36 into the game. Ferrum's Michael Lyons took a pass from Mbongu and slipped it past Randolph-Macon goalkeeper Brian Breslin at 71:23 to force overtime. In the first overtime period, Mbongu took a pass from Sam May and found the back of the net to give Ferrum its first-ever ODAC win in any sport.

Crehan's bunch is back in action Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Emory & Henry College. The ODAC game is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. in Emory, Virginia.
