Men's Lacrosse Falls 15-6 at Home to Quakers

FERRUM, Va. -- Guilford College picked up a men's lacrosse win tonight at Ferrum College, beating the Panthers 15-6 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play at W.B. Adams Stadium.

Guilford (7-6, 1-5 ODAC)
Ferrum (1-11, 0-5 ODAC)

Guilford jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never trailed in earning their first league win of the season. Mackoy Bodmer scored the first of his four goals at 11:46 of the third quarter to get Ferrum on the scoreboard.

Bodmer scored his third goal at 6:13 of the third quarter to trim the lead to 7-3. The Quakers added four unanswered goals to close the third with an 11-3 lead.

Coach Mike Baggetta's team will be back in action Wednesday, April 10, at Roanoke College. The ODAC game gets underway at 7:00 p.m. at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia.
