HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference men's lacrosse game on the road to William Peace University, falling 13-8 this afternoon at Ting Park.

Ferrum led 4-3 after one quarter of play on a goal each each by Jack Sheehan and Mackoy Bodmer, and a pair by Ronald Carney. The Pacer rallied to grab a 7-5 lead at the break, then punched in two more to extend the run to 6-1 and the lead to 9-5.
A goal each by Jacob Boswell and Bodmer to end the third quarter trimmed the lead to 9-7, but the Pacers scored four in the fourth to build what proved to be an insurmountable 13-7 lead with 6:24 left to play.
Sheehan scored his second goal of the day with just under six minutes left in regulation and both teams played scoreless from there. William Peace out-shot Ferrum 44-41 and the Panthers closed the game with a 14-11 edge in faceoffs won.

Coach Mike Baggetta's team will be back in action Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Greensboro College. The non-conference game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start in Greensboro, North Carolina.
