Corrigan Promoted To Associate Head Coach

FERRUM, Va. -- Acting Director of Athletics Gary Holden has announced the promotion of Men's Basketball Assistant, Patrick Corrigan to the position of Associate Head Coach. Corrigan is in his second season working with Head Coach Tyler Sanborn.

Corrigan has been an instrumental part of the men's basketball program since joining Sanborn's staff in 2018. He assists in all aspects of the program's operational and coaching duties.

"Patrick has done an outstanding job for our program," said Sanborn. "He exemplifies the traits of humility and hard work, which is what we are trying to instill in our players on a daily basis. Patrick has been instrumental with helping recruit our staff's first two recruiting classes and has been extremely loyal to our program."

"I am honored to be promoted here at Ferrum," said Corrigan. "I want to thank Coach Sanborn and Gary Holden for the recognition and support. We are proud of the progress that our program has made, and the dedication our players have shown. Coach Sanborn and I love coaching the group of guys that we have here, and we are excited about the direction our program is heading."

Ferrum opens the season Wednesday, November 13, at home against Methodist University. The non-conference game tips off at 7:00 p.m. in Swartz Gymnasium.
