LEXINGTON, Va. -- Marcus Huff had a career-high 33 points, but Ferrum College dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball game this afternoon at Washington and Lee University, falling 97-85 at W&L's Duchossois Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
Washington and Lee raced out to a 13-3 lead and never was behind in this one. Ferrum got as close as five points in the second half when Marcus Plair's jumper cut the lead to 69-64 with 10:12 left to play.

The Generals responded with a 15-4 run that put the game out of reach at 84-68 with just over six minutes left. W&L shot 55% from the floor, to Ferrum's 49%.
