VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Ferrum College fell 70-57 to Virginia Wesleyan University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball action this afternoon at Forsyth Court.

THE BASICS
Ferrum and Virginia Wesleyan were tied 26-26 at the break, but Virginia Wesleyan outscored Ferrum 44-31 in the second half. The two teams played evenly through the first 10 minutes of play, with the Marlins holding a 45-44 edge at the 10:28 mark.

Virginia Wesleyan used a 21-10 run over the next seven minutes to build a 66-54 lead with3:10 left in regulation, then hung on for the win.
