DOVER, Del. -- Ferrum College dropped a non-conference field hockey game this afternoon to Wesley College on the road, falling 4-0 at Mike Drass Field.
Kaila Hindt got Wesley on the board at 5:50 of he first half, the first of two goals for her on the afternoon. Katelyn Fuhr and Kasey Fry would score first-half goals as well to give the Wolverines a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
Hundt found the back of the net again at 55:33 to close out scoring, and the Wesley defense did the rest ro preserve the shutout. Wesley outshot Ferrum 18-3 and closed the game with a 10-1 advantage in penalty corners.

Ferrum: GK Mia Holmes (0-3) 70 min, 6 saves

Coach Carrie Hanshue Austin's club will be back in action Sunday, Sept. 9, at Goucher College. The non-conference game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. in Baltimore, Maryland.
