Ferrum Picks Up 10-1 ODAC Win over Emory & Henry

FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College earned an Old Dominion Athletic Conference baseball win this afternoon at home over Emory & Henry College winning 10-1 at Panther Field.

Ferrum (20-13, 11-6 ODAC)
Emory & Henry (4-28, 1-16 ODAC)

Ferrum scored a run in the second inning on Kyle Anstice's solo homer, then a pair in the second. The Wasps broke up the shutout with a run in the fourth inning, but Ferrum answered with four in the sixth, one in the seventh on a solo homer by Jake Martin and two runs in the eighth.

Coach Ryan Brittle's team will be back in action Saturday, April 20, at Randolph-Macon College. The ODAC doubleheader is set for a noon start in Ashland, Virginia.
