WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ferrum College's non-conference baseball doubleheader with Marymount University, originally scheduled to be played at noon today at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, Virginia, but was was pushed back to a 3:30 p.m. start, has been changed again along with the venue.
Ferrum and Marymount have moved the games to Washington, D.C. The two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Gallaudet University.
Ferrum brings an 18-9 record to the nation's capital today for today's doubleheader, while the Saints are 11-13. So far this season, the two teams have faced just one common opponent, Christopher Newport University, currently the top-ranked team in the country. Ferrum opened the season with a pair of road losses to the Captains, while Marymount lost to CNU in its most recent outing April 3 on the road.
