FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College's Drew Calohan has been named Baseball Pitcher of the Week by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference for his part in the Panthers 4-0 run last week.

A junior from Rustburg, Virginia, Calohan picked up his fourth win this season in Ferrum's 7-0 ODAC win over Emory & Henry College March 20 on the road. He scattered four hits over eight innings, allowed one walk (intentional), and struck out four batters. For the season, Calohan has pitched 32.1 innings and has a 3.34 earned run average.

Calohan is the second Ferrum player in the last three weeks to earn ODAC weekly honors, including Tim Ortega's Baseball Player of the Week award on March 11. Hampden-Sydney College's Tyler Blevins earned this week's ODAC Baseball Player of the Week honor.

Ferrum will take a 15-7 overall record and 7-2 ODAC mark into this afternoon's ODAC game at home with Guilford College. The Panthers then host Southern Virginia University Wednesday, March 27. Both games are set for 6:00 p.m. starts and both will have live stats and video available.
