FERRUM, Va. – Ferrum College picked up a non-conference baseball win this afternoon at home over SUNY Brockport, winning 16-3 at Panther Field. The Panthers used a big seventh inning to break the game open.

THE BASICS
Brockport opened the game with a run in the first inning, but Ferrum answered with a run each in the second, third and fourth.

The Panthers tacked on three runs in the fifth when Drew Calohan doubled, Tim Ortega reached on a fielder's choice and Josh Greenway singled, each driving in a run.

Ferrum scored 10 runs in the seventh inning, including Parker Mason's two-run homer, and Grey Sherfey's two-RBI triple to right field.
