EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College picked up an Old Dominion Athletic Conference baseball win this afternoon on the road over Emory & Henry College, posting a 7-0 shutout at Porterfield/DeVault Field.

THE BASICS
Ferrum scored four runs in the top of the second inning, including a pair on Drew Calohan's RBI double. The Panthers then scored three runs in the sixth inning, with Grey Sherfey's RBI single driving in two.

Calohan pitched the opening eight frames, allowing four hits, no runs and no walks, while striking out four batters. Braxton Wheeler pitched the ninth inning, allowing no hits or walks with two strikeouts. The Wasps committed four errors, while Ferrum had two.
