FERRUM, Va. -- Director of Athletics Abe Naff has announced the hiring of Tennille Morales Grega as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ferrum College. Grega joined the Panther sports medicine staff in August 2018
Grega came to Ferrum after spending the past two years as Clinical Coordinator for Sideline Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, located in Blacksburg, Virginia. Prior to that, she worked as both a Clinical Athletic Trainer and Practice Supervisor for Carilion Clinic Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences in the New River Valley. Grega has also worked for HCA and their team of Orthopedic surgeons, as well as Narrows High School.
From 2005-10, Grega was an assistant athletic trainer at Radford University and worked primarily with softball and field hockey. She currently continues her work at Radford as an adjunct faculty member in their Athletic Training Education Program, a position she's held since 2007.
Grega earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and is currently completing a Master's and Educational Doctoral program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
Grega joins the Ferrum sports medicine staff that includes Head Athletic Trainer Seth Crawford, Associate Athletic Trainer Caitlin Keroack, Assistant Athletic Trainers Kaylyn Hopkins and Cody Lawson, and Athletic Insurance Coordinator Angela White.
