Stephanie Perih, All-Conference 1st Team
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2008 All-Conference Women's Lacrosse Team and Ferrum College had two players selected, seniors Stephanie Perih and Lindy Williams.
2008 USA South All-Conference Women's Lacrosse Team
Perih was named to the first team for the second straight season. She leads Ferrum this year in goals (41), game-winning goals (2) and points (51). She also made the All-State second team a year ago, as voted upon by the Virginia Sports Information Directors.
Williams has been named to the honorable mention team. She has three goals this season. Junior Amanda Hardnack was Ferrum's representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Ferrum is currently 4-8 overall after its 13-9 USA South Tournament play-in game win over Shenandoah University April 15 at home.
The Panthers, seeded #4, next face top seeded Christopher Newport University April 18 in the semifinals. The tournament is being played at Springwood Park in Burlington, North Carolina.
