Taylor Woolard joined the Ferrum athletics staff as Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach in October 2017. Woolard came to Ferrum from Hanover High School in Mechanicsville, Virginia, where she served a year as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. She led the Hawks to a 7-7 regular season record, and an 8-9 overall record with 14 players named All-Conference and four players named All-Region.  Prior to that, she spent three years as Assistant Varsity Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Hanover High School.
 
Woolard played lacrosse a year at Lynchburg College in 2013. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a double-minor in Business and Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015.
